Gurlzzzz only!
.barf.
there are certain objects in my house which didn’t have a place before my father became ill. a wheelchair; a walker; pills on the dresser.
these objects made me unduly anxious and resentful at first—understanding that the presence of these objects meant the necessity for them and with their necessity, a definitive place. I wanted to clear the table of these objects and leave them outside—unwelcomed. I thought: How could I eat or laugh or sleep in the presence of these things? and so I didn’t.
now, a year and a half later I realize they’re objects.
hee-haw!
oh my god! the almighty hey y’all got hit in the face!! I will now genuflect and vow never to eat ham again.
